K2 Staffing LLC is currently seeking a qualified Pharmacy Technician to enhance our clinical research activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Pharmacy team in both administrative and technical pharmacy operations.
  • Facilitate the training and ongoing assessment of Clinic personnel interacting with the pharmacy to ensure adherence to pharmacy protocols, including drug accountability and proper documentation.
  • Assist in the receipt, storage, dispensing, and return of medications, acting as a liaison between Pharmacy management and clinical teams.
  • Prepare and verify the accuracy of medication labels, assist in dose packaging, and ensure compliance with FDA regulations and study protocols.
  • Ensure that all pharmacy products prepared and/or verified by pharmacy staff meet the highest quality standards to safeguard participant safety and study integrity.
  • Engage with sponsors and clients regarding ongoing studies, explaining K2 procedures and addressing inquiries related to medication handling and study close-out processes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in aseptic techniques and IV certification.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks effectively in a professional environment.
  • Capable of working collaboratively within a team.

Educational Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, along with relevant vocational training.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a pharmacy technician.
  • Certification as a pharmacy technician, licensed by the Board of Pharmacy.
  • IV experience is mandatory.
  • A combination of education, training, and professional experience that equips the individual with the necessary knowledge and skills.
  • Prior experience that demonstrates the competencies required for this role, comparable to at least 6 years, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
