Your Role: As a Junior Marine Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of our advanced products, which may include diesel engines, electrical controls, and various marine equipment. Under the mentorship of seasoned technicians, you will enhance your technical skills and embark on a fulfilling career path.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct hands-on repairs, overhauls, and commissioning of products on marine vessels or at client locations.
  • Ensure high-quality workmanship in compliance with technical manuals and on-the-job training.
  • Maintain accurate and timely reporting, along with comprehensive documentation of your work and inspections.
  • Deliver exceptional customer support, serving as an ambassador for Fairbanks Morse Defense and promoting customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED, along with either an associate degree in a technical field or three years of military or industry experience in relevant product lines.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75%, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and short-notice emergency situations.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.
  • Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
  • U.S. Citizenship and a valid driver's license are required.
