Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a full-time Real Estate Operations Manager to oversee the comprehensive management of our properties. This role is essential in ensuring adherence to our organizational policies, compliance with regulatory standards, and the overall maintenance of property conditions. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing financial operations and promoting the social integrity of our properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leasing Management:
    Handle inquiries from potential tenants, conduct property showings, maintain waiting lists, and screen applicants in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Financial Oversight:
    Collect rents and other payments, ensure accurate processing in our accounting system, and manage delinquent accounts with appropriate actions.
  • Property Maintenance:
    Ensure properties are maintained to high standards, oversee maintenance requests, and conduct regular inspections to uphold safety and security.
  • Administrative Duties:
    Manage resident relations, enforce lease agreements, and supervise on-site staff while maintaining organized office operations.
  • Recordkeeping:
    Maintain accurate financial records and provide regular reports to management regarding property operations.

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a minimum of two years of experience in property management, particularly in subsidized housing. Strong administrative, organizational, and communication skills are essential, along with basic bookkeeping knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with tax credit housing programs, supervisory experience, and familiarity with YARDI software are advantageous.

Physical Requirements:
This position involves a mix of sitting, standing, and walking, with occasional lifting and climbing. Candidates must be able to navigate all areas of the property effectively.
