Core Responsibilities

The individual in this role will:

  • Oversee the processing of applications and provide administrative support for medical staff and healthcare professionals.
  • Manage billing, collection, and deposits related to medical staff dues.
  • Organize and participate in departmental meetings, committees, and special events to support credentialing activities.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding credentialing processes and departmental operations.
  • Ensure the integrity of data and maintain documentation for effective analysis and retrieval.
  • Keep current credential files for all employed and contracted physicians.
  • Develop and maintain a matrix of physician participation with contracted payers, distributing this information to relevant parties.
  • Notify payers of any changes regarding physicians or pertinent information.
Qualifications

Candidates should possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, or at least one year of relevant experience in a similar role.
    • Note: Relevant professional licensure or certification may substitute for education or experience.
