Core ResponsibilitiesThe individual in this role will:
- Oversee the processing of applications and provide administrative support for medical staff and healthcare professionals.
- Manage billing, collection, and deposits related to medical staff dues.
- Organize and participate in departmental meetings, committees, and special events to support credentialing activities.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding credentialing processes and departmental operations.
- Ensure the integrity of data and maintain documentation for effective analysis and retrieval.
- Keep current credential files for all employed and contracted physicians.
- Develop and maintain a matrix of physician participation with contracted payers, distributing this information to relevant parties.
- Notify payers of any changes regarding physicians or pertinent information.
Candidates should possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, or at least one year of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Note: Relevant professional licensure or certification may substitute for education or experience.
There are no additional preferences for this position.
