Job Summary

AMSG Inc is seeking a highly skilled Financial Specialist to join our team. As a Financial Specialist, you will be responsible for providing financial support to our clients in the Department of Energy (DOE) National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Office of Secure Transportation (OST).

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Operations: Provide financial support to our clients, including management and administrative support roles, project and budget analysis, document controls, federal payroll data entry, travel vouchers processing, and invoice tracking.
  • Customer Support: Provide customer support in the areas of travel and payroll, responding to inquiries within 48 hours of receipt.
  • Financial Management: Manage financial processes, including time and attendance processing, first forty time and attendance, supplemental time and attendance, travel authorization and voucher processing, and leave reports.
  • Team Support: Provide back-up support to team members, including the Administrative Specialist.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A degree in finance or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in financial operations.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Proficiency in financial software, including ATAAPS, Concur Government Edition, and OST Share Point.
  • Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a level L clearance with the DOE.
Preferred Qualifications
  • ATAAPS: Experience with Automated Time and Attendance Reporting System.
  • Concur Government Edition: Experience with travel authorization, booking, and travel voucher processing.
  • OST Share Point: Experience with procurement tracking.
