Job Title: Scheduling Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Scheduling Coordinator to join our team at Deaf Action Center. As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will play a critical role in coordinating interpreter requests, ensuring seamless communication between our team and the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate multiple interpreter requests in a fast-paced environment.
  • Utilize technology and computers to handle interpreter requests.
  • Monitor and control all incoming requests and outgoing confirmations.
  • Prepare and maintain scheduling documentation with precision and accuracy.
  • Establish and maintain excellent relationships with businesses, vendors, contract interpreters, and Deaf/Hard of Hearing consumers locally.
  • Comply with relevant and applicable guidelines, regulations, and mandates.
  • Maintain utmost confidentiality.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and a willingness to develop and maintain strong working relations with co-workers, vendors, and community members.
  • Attend and participate in staff meetings, trainings/workshops, and conferences as required.
  • Perform special assignments, projects, and other duties as required.
