Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Scheduler to join our team at Methodist Health System. As a Scheduler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient procedures and services to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Collect and verify patient demographics and insurance information
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and staff to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Monitor and manage patient flow to minimize wait times and optimize resource utilization
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to identify and implement process improvements
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent required
  • Some college preferred
  • 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Medical terminology experience preferred
  • Bilingual skills preferred
  • 1 year of computer experience with Microsoft Office preferred
