Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Vice President to join our Western Region team in San Diego and Irvine, CA. The successful candidate will act as a lead point of contact for new development projects in the Western Region, overseeing entitlements, development, and leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Entitlements: Lead and manage the entitlement process from concept through approval, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Development: Oversee due diligence for potential development opportunities, collaborate on Investment Committee presentations, and manage project consultants.
  • Leadership: Mentor and develop the team for career growth and high performance, partner with SVP on selection and training of new team members.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Urban Planning, Accounting, Real Estate, Engineering, Math, or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in entitlements, executing development opportunities, working with capital partners, market analytics, asset management, property operations, and strong negotiation skills.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience within Real Estate development, including significant multi-family development experience.
