Assistant Vice President Portfolio Manager

Western Alliance Bank is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Vice President Portfolio Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Commercial Lending team, you will be responsible for analyzing, structuring, and underwriting complex Technology loans in compliance with the Bank's lending policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in credit analysis, financial statement analysis, and portfolio management. You will work closely with our Vice President, Commercial Banker to develop new and maintain existing client relationships, ensuring a timely credit process from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and structure complex Technology loans in compliance with the Bank's lending policies and procedures
- Work closely with the Vice President, Commercial Banker to develop new and maintain existing client relationships
- Interface with clients in-person, over the phone, and via email to assess their credit needs and determine the best structure and items needed for analysis
- Gather and analyze necessary information to present a financing request to senior management or Loan Committee for approval
- Coordinate the processing of approved loans, ensuring they are processed according to agreement, customer needs, and conform to Bank lending policies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 4 years of Technology underwriting experience at a financial institution
- Exceptional credit knowledge and underwriting skills in Commercial lending
- Advanced experience in financial statement and tax return analysis
- Strong portfolio management skills, with the ability to identify credit concerns and bring them to the attention of the Relationship Manager
