Your Role:

The Engineering Operations Manager will oversee the Engineering team, focusing on mentorship, personnel development, and budget management. This role is essential for providing daily manufacturing support to enhance plant operational performance. As a member of the Plant Leadership Team, you will utilize resources effectively to ensure success across all facility areas. You will also manage external engineering consultants and construction contractors during project design and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage capital expenditures and associated costs, ensuring that projects align with their defined scope, timeline, and budgetary constraints.
  • Supervise engineering functions and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, reports, and calculations. Oversee fixed asset management, facility infrastructure, site security, fire safety, and risk management, ensuring compliance with relevant permits and contributing to long-term site planning.
  • Mentor and coach engineering staff, providing support and guidance to promote professional growth and development within the team.
  • Ensure efficient project execution by monitoring progress against established objectives, implementing early management strategies to address potential issues.
  • Lead the engineering team by fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement, working with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and achieve organizational goals.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in manufacturing or a related field.
  • Preferred leadership experience.
  • Proficient in project management, maintenance, and facility oversight.
  • Skilled in mentoring and developing engineering talent.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards.
  • Preferred engineering or technical degree.

Work Environment:

This position requires an onsite work model.
