LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a compassionate and experienced Housing Navigator to support our clients in a shelter setting. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in helping individuals transition into and maintain permanent housing.
Key Responsibilities- Client Support: Manage a caseload of 20-25 clients, providing daily wellness and room checks, coaching, and support to help them achieve housing stability.
- Caseload Management: Focus on 4-5 clients per day, conducting weekly case management meetings, and ensuring client files are up-to-date and compliant.
- Incident Response: De-escalate incidents and facilitate group activities to promote a safe and supportive environment.
- Housing Assistance: Assist with housing unit viewings when clients are close to being housed, addressing their needs related to housing, mental health, medical concerns, domestic violence, and more.
- Education: Bachelor's degree
- Experience: Experience working with the homeless population (less than a year of experience is considered)
- Skills: Strong documentation skills, compassion, and a commitment to client confidentiality
