Assistant Professor of Finance

We are seeking a highly qualified Assistant Professor of Finance to join our dynamic faculty team at Georgia Southern University. As a tenure-track faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate-level finance courses, conducting research in peer-reviewed journals, and contributing to the institution's student success initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Teach finance courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels
- Conduct research and publish in quality peer-reviewed journals
- Engage in service to the institution, including committee work and student mentoring
To be considered for this position, you must have a terminal degree in Finance or a closely related field from an AACSB-accredited institution. You should also have a strong research agenda, excellent teaching skills, and a commitment to student success.
Preferred QualificationsExperience teaching finance courses at the university level, particularly in banking, is highly desirable. Additionally, the ability to deliver remote instruction and interact with industry professionals is a plus.
