Responsibilities:


Under the guidance of the Beverage Manager, the Beverage Operations Supervisor will assist the Food and Beverage Manager and the management team in ensuring the efficient and profitable operation of the Food and Beverage Department.

Compliance with all regulatory, departmental, and company policies is essential.

Lead the Food and Beverage Team by exemplifying best practices. Oversee the administration of controls for all aspects of the operations, ensuring both economic viability and adherence to established standards.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise all food and beverage personnel
  • Evaluate food and beverage performance metrics
  • Manage cash handling processes to maintain accuracy and profitability
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through comprehensive training focused on guest satisfaction
  • Address guest complaints promptly and take necessary corrective actions
  • Maintain composure and make informed decisions during guest and employee disputes
  • Ensure the Department supports the casino by providing exceptional service to VIP guests during dining and special events
  • Communicate effectively with management and other departments to meet the needs of the POS system
  • Lead projects and manage assignments as required
  • Assist in maintaining guest security by ensuring only authorized individuals access the bars
  • Ensure all staff are certified in ServSafe and T.I.P.S. as necessary
  • Project an image of enthusiasm and professionalism while maintaining a polished appearance
  • Complete necessary forms and reports as required by the Seminole Tribe of Florida
  • Coach and mentor employees effectively
  • Communicate with guests regarding inquiries and concerns
  • Interpret technical manuals and related materials for team members
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma required; college degree preferred, or equivalent experience in a similar role
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English; strong communication skills are essential
  • Minimum of two years of supervisory experience managing a team of at least 25 individuals in both front and back of house settings
  • Computer proficiency in Windows Office Suite, including Excel and Word; ability to learn new software as needed
  • Two years of experience in cash handling and POS systems preferred
  • TIPS certification and basic mathematical skills are required
  • Familiarity with software programs such as Microsoft Excel and Word is necessary
  • Working knowledge of Info Genesis is preferred

Work Environment:
Ability to work in a smoking environment is required.

Regular tasks include standing or walking, using hands for handling or feeling, reaching with hands and arms, and effective communication.

Specific vision abilities necessary for this role include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
Physical requirements include bending, lifting, and carrying supplies and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

With assistance, the ability to lift or carry items exceeding 50 pounds, as well as push or pull heavy carts and furniture, is necessary.

The Tribal Council prioritizes Native Americans in all employment practices.

First preference in hiring, training, and promotion is given to members of the Seminole Tribe who meet job qualifications.

Second preference is extended to members of other federally recognized Native American Tribes who fulfill the job requirements.

As part of the employment process, final candidates will be required to obtain gaming licensure through a background check with Seminole Gaming Compliance and Regulations before an offer is made.
