Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the store manager in executing store operations during scheduled shifts.
  • Deploy partners and delegate tasks to ensure the delivery of legendary customer service.
  • Model and act in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.
  • Anticipate customer and store needs by constantly evaluating the environment and communicating information to the manager.
  • Assist with new partner training and provide coaching as needed.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment by recognizing alarms or changes in partner morale and performance.
  • Deliver legendary customer service to all customers by acting with a customer comes first attitude.
  • Develop positive relationships with the shift team by understanding and addressing individual motivation, needs, and concerns.
  • Execute store operations during scheduled shifts, including organized closing and opening duties.
  • Follow all cash management and cash register policies and ensure proper cash management practices are followed by the shift team.
  • Follow up with baristas during the shift to ensure the delivery of legendary customer service.
  • Provide quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently for all customers.
  • Recognize and reinforce individual and team accomplishments.
  • Utilize operational tools to achieve operational excellence.

Requirements:

  • One year of customer service experience in a retail or restaurant environment.
  • Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
  • Available to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
  • Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling, and store safety and security.
  • At least six months of delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two or more employees.
