Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Vice President of Product Management to spearhead our initiatives within the small business mid-market sector. This pivotal role encompasses both vertical leadership of the QuickBooks product teams and horizontal oversight to ensure seamless user experiences across the QuickBooks ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vision and Strategy: Define and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap by conducting thorough analyses to uncover the specific needs and challenges faced by mid-market small businesses.
  • Team Leadership: Build and nurture a product organization that delivers exceptional product experiences, ensuring alignment with other QuickBooks teams to advocate for the mid-market audience.
  • Performance Measurement: Establish and maintain metrics to assess the success of products and user experiences, leveraging data-driven insights for continuous improvement.
  • Market Awareness: Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to identify new growth opportunities, representing the company at industry events and conferences.
  • Talent Development: Recruit, onboard, and mentor talent within the Product Management team, fostering a culture of innovation and customer-centricity.
  • Collaboration: Promote a collaborative environment that encourages bold ideas and initiatives while ensuring high-quality teamwork and inclusivity.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in product management, particularly in Financial Management Software, Payments, or Human Capital Management.
  • Proven experience in developing products for small business mid-market customers within a comprehensive ecosystem.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow and lead large product teams focused on delivering outstanding customer experiences.
  • Strong educational and professional background in the accounting industry is preferred.
  • Track record of driving significant business transformations and product innovations that lead to revenue and customer growth.
  • Experience in crafting and executing a robust 3-year product strategy.
