Position Overview:

Flow MD is seeking a dynamic Senior Vice President for Professional and Management Liability lines, who will report directly to our President of Brokerage. This pivotal role focuses on driving business development for our wholesale offerings tailored to the middle market, particularly in specialty lines and complex risks. If you are enthusiastic about utilizing technology to enhance insurance processes and excel in client relationship management within a fast-paced startup environment, this opportunity is designed for you.

This position supports remote work with occasional travel to meet clients and collaborate with our headquarters. Key responsibilities include:

  • Establishing and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Generating revenue through effective submissions
  • Building partnerships with agencies and insurance providers
  • Negotiating favorable terms for clients
  • Leading, mentoring, and retaining a high-performing team
  • Collaborating with the technology team to refine our platform
  • Influencing critical decisions regarding technology and user experience

Qualifications:

  • 7-10+ years of experience in wholesale brokerage
  • In-depth knowledge of Professional Liability, Management Liability, and Cyber products
  • Demonstrated success in new business development
  • Ability to cultivate strong market relationships
  • Passionate about improving customer experience through technology
  • Comfortable in a rapidly growing startup atmosphere
  • Experience and connections within the Lloyds market are advantageous

This role entails significant travel to engage with clients and carriers, comprising 50-70% of your time.
