Position Overview:

  • Analyze and map the production workflow, considering elements such as documentation, process diagrams, standard operating procedures, technology transfer documentation, and system interfaces.
  • Develop the Master Batch Record (MBR) to accurately represent the manufacturing operations.
  • Determine the necessary components for constructing the MBR (e.g., production units, equipment, fundamental operations, and functions). Outline the tasks to be executed by each functional component.
  • Design the material flow, pinpointing where materials are utilized and generated in each operation.
  • Identify data exchange points between MES and other systems (e.g., Process Control Systems, Enterprise Resource Planning, Laboratory Information Management Systems) and ascertain the data required for exchange.
  • Ensure the correct Bill of Materials (BOM) is linked to the MBR.
Conduct workshops with pertinent stakeholders for activities such as:

  • Data collection
  • Business validation of MBRs
  • Configuration of MBRs
  • Validation and testing of MBRs
  • As needed, implement changes to existing MBRs under change control protocols.
  • Collaborate with all relevant stakeholders, including operations, process engineering, quality assurance, logistics, and others.
