Position Overview:

We are seeking a Technical Support Engineer to play a pivotal role in our support operations.

Reporting Structure:

This position reports to the Team Leader of Americas Support.

Work Environment:

This role can be performed in a hybrid model or remotely from the East Coast.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert assistance to global clients through various communication channels, assisting them with product installation, operational guidance, and troubleshooting.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the AlgoSec knowledge base, enhancing the overall support framework.
  • Implement support methodologies and tools to improve service delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with global support teams and engage with R&D, Delivery, and Product Management departments.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within a software organization.
  • Proficiency in Linux/UNIX operating systems.
  • Experience with firewall management and configuration (Checkpoint, Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, etc.).
  • Background in supporting network security software solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, solve problems, and achieve results.
  • Quick learner with a collaborative spirit and high integrity.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Able to perform under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Flexibility to work during irregular hours to provide global support.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or DevOps.
  • Familiarity with Linux scripting languages (PERL, shell).

Compensation:

The estimated On-Target Earnings (OTE) for this position ranges from $75,000 to $85,000, with actual compensation dependent on skills, experience, location, and certifications.
