Commodity Risk Specialist Opportunity

Optimus - People. Solutions. Delivered. is seeking a skilled Commodity Risk Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our global trading client, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our commodity risk management processes.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in daily position and profit/loss reconciliation for natural gas, ensuring curves and positions are validated.
  • Monitor commodity activities against approved limits and escalate/resolve as required.
  • Collaborate with various teams to resolve trade or position discrepancies and ensure compliant commodity operations.
  • Support the implementation of the ETRM LNG system and continuous improvements for Natural Gas Supply and Commercial LNG.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in commodity risk within a trading environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related technical field. CPA, MBA, MS Finance, CFA preferred but not required.
  • Experience with ETRM (Endur preferred).
  • Familiarity with accounting, regulatory, and financial reporting requirements.
