We are seeking a highly skilled Loss Control Representative to join our team and perform loss control services to achieve improved loss experience. This position will serve and/or oversee the entire regional territory, with the ideal candidate located in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough inspections of insured or potential insured premises to identify potential risks and hazards.
- Analyze exposures to loss and develop recommendations to mitigate or reduce these exposures.
- Provide training to insureds' employees on safety protocols and loss control measures to reduce and eliminate exposures to loss.
- Conduct training sessions for company underwriting and claims staff to enhance their knowledge of exposures to loss.
- A valid driver's license and good driving record are required.
- At least 3 years of experience in the insurance industry, specifically in loss control or safety.
- Qualification as a designated Field Safety Representative in accordance with the Texas Administrative Code.
- Certifications such as CSP, PE, OSHA 10HR, and familiarity with FMCSR and NFPA are highly desirable.
