About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Risk Management Specialist to support our mission to safeguard vital systems and infrastructure from cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with support specialists to assist in the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process for Army systems
  • Support the identification, assessment, and mitigation of potential risks and vulnerabilities within the system infrastructure
  • Assist in the development and implementation of security controls and measures to ensure compliance with Department of Defense (DoD), Army, and RMF guidelines
  • Participate in the preparation and maintenance of documentation, such as System Security Plans (SSPs), Security Assessment Reports (SARs), and Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms)
  • Conduct system security assessments based on NIST 800-53
  • Develop Risk Management Framework (RMF) Certification and Accreditation documentation
  • Identify where systems/networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy
  • Utilize the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (EMASS) platform to track and manage system authorizations, security assessments, vulnerability findings, and POA&Ms
  • Provide oversight and guidance for securing and enhancing cyber resiliency for multiple types of control systems (CS)
  • Collaborate with system administrators and stakeholders to resolve security-related issues and provide technical guidance on security best practices
  • Stay updated with the latest RMF and EMASS tools, technologies, and policies to ensure effective and efficient support
Requirements
  • U.S. citizenship is required by federal law
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance required
  • Understanding of the RMF process and experience supporting it within a government or military organization
  • Familiarity and proficiency with the EMASS platform required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
