Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety and Risk Management Specialist to join our team at Trinity Consultants Engineering & EHS Workforce Solutions. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing and implementing safety processes, conducting hazard analyses, and overseeing emergency response programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Safety Processes: Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct Hazard Analyses: Perform process hazard analyses, hazard operability studies, and other risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Oversee Emergency Response Programs: Develop and implement emergency response plans, conduct training and drills, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage Audits and Assessments: Conduct internal and external audits, and perform annual site self-assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Manage Workers Compensation Claims: Investigate and manage workers compensation claims, ensuring timely and fair resolution.
  • Support HSE Team: Provide technical support to the HSE team, including safety training, vendor management, and special projects.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a safety-related field, or equivalent experience and training.
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in safety, with a minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 20 lbs occasionally, sit for prolonged periods, and effectively communicate through various means.
