Production Manager

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $80,000-$85,000/year DOE

Shift: M-F, Days

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Oversight:

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate the production activities within the department.
  • Establish and communicate production schedules and objectives to relevant teams.
  • Analyze equipment performance, material supply, and workforce needs.
  • Ensure product quality standards are met consistently.
  • Manage, train, and supervise departmental leaders and production staff.

Collaboration and Reporting:

  • Collect, verify, and report on production data regularly.
  • Assist in scheduling personnel as directed by management.
  • Track and report attendance and vacation data in coordination with the Operations Coordinator.
  • Gather and report environmental data related to water and air quality.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate production and inventory reports for management and sales teams.
  • Implement corrective action procedures and conduct employee evaluations as necessary.
  • Recruit and assess potential candidates for employment.

Safety and Maintenance:

  • Maintain an inventory of parts, equipment, and supplies for the facility.
  • Ensure adequate stock levels to support efficient operations.
  • Oversee the implementation of quality control procedures, including compliance with industry standards.
  • Coordinate safety programs and ensure adherence to OSHA and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Possess a proactive approach with strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Demonstrate technical and analytical proficiency, including the ability to perform complex calculations.
  • Ability to work in a high-temperature and high-humidity environment.
