Oliver Machinery is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Technical Service and Part Representative to join our team in Renton, WA. Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues with woodworking machinery over the phone and in-person.
- Assemble, test, and repair woodworking machinery as needed.
- Process part orders for customers and ensure timely delivery.
- Diagnose and repair electrical issues with machinery motors.
- Assess and resolve freight damage to machines.
- Clean and maintain machines and parts.
- Use various measuring tools and hand tools to perform tasks.
- Perform miscellaneous projects and tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Prior experience with woodworking machinery and electrical systems.
- Electrical Technician Certificate and mechanical aptitude.
- Minimum of two years troubleshooting experience in a customer service or production environment.
- Basic understanding of mechanical components and electrical systems.
- Experience using a volt-ohm meter and various electrical and mechanical tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with customers in a positive and calm manner.
- Must be able to speak and read English.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer literate in MS Office products.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and follow through.

Work Environment:
This is a casual dress but professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
