Position: Human Resources Specialist

Company: Baptist Memorial Health Care

Overview:
As a key member of the Human Resources team, you will provide essential leadership and services that align with our corporate objectives. Your role will encompass policy interpretation, employee relations support, and guidance in various HR functions including benefits, employment, compensation, payroll, and employee health. You will also be involved in reviewing disciplinary actions and collaborating with external stakeholders to ensure compliance with established policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing recruitment efforts for designated areas.
  • Managing employee relations initiatives, including investigations and coaching.
  • Administering employee benefit programs.
  • Supporting the HR Director in performance management activities.
  • Meeting and exceeding assigned performance goals.
Qualifications:

Education:
Preferred: Master's degree in Human Resource Management or Business Administration.
Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline. Relevant HR experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Experience:
Preferred: A minimum of three years in a healthcare environment.
Minimum: Three years of experience in Human Resources.

Essential Skills:
Minimum: Familiarity with automated HR/Payroll systems and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
