Job Overview

Position Summary:

The Client Support Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our customers. This position is responsible for providing detailed information to assist clients in resolving their inquiries and making informed decisions, ultimately leading to enhanced customer satisfaction. The specialist will address customer concerns and escalate issues to management when necessary to ensure effective service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responding to incoming calls in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Conducting outbound calls to follow up on inquiries and provide necessary information.
  • Verifying account details, including account numbers and product descriptions.
  • Communicating with customers regarding order status, availability, and shipping timelines.
  • Confirming pricing and product availability.
  • Handling customer service inquiries via phone or email, meeting performance metrics as established by management.
  • Assisting with administrative tasks related to supplier purchase orders.
  • Effectively managing multiple tasks, including processing credits and rebills in accordance with company policies.

Required Skills:

Proficiency in customer service, CRM systems, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience in call center environments and technical support is beneficial.

Preferred Qualifications:

A high school diploma or GED is required, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service within a manufacturing setting. Familiarity with CRM software is preferred, and a typing speed of 35+ words per minute is expected.

Experience Level:

This is an entry-level position.
