Job Summary:

The Senior Labor and Employee Relations Analyst will serve as a liaison between the Department of Human Resources and the Department of Public Works. This role will provide guidance, coaching, and counseling to supervisory and management team members on labor and employee relations practices, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide labor and employee relations support to the Department of Public Works
  • Develop and implement labor and employee relations policies and procedures
  • Conduct investigations and resolve complaints and grievances
  • Provide training and coaching to supervisory and management team members
  • Collaborate with the Department of Human Resources to ensure compliance with labor and employment laws
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Administration, Psychology, Public Administration, or related field
  • Master's degree in Human Resources Administration, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Applied Psychology, or Public Administration
  • 2+ years of experience in labor and employee relations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
