Job Title: Business Development Liaison

UHS is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Liaison to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing the philosophy, policy, procedures, systems, and strategic goals set forth by the senior management team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop new accounts and markets in the employer EAP, Primary Care Physicians/Licensed Practitioners, and managed care segments.
  • Develop a designated number of qualified business development leads with 60 contacts per week to achieve overall business development goals and objectives.
  • Manage account relationships through personal visits, telephone calls, and letters/mailers.
  • Monitor referrals and admissions, and plan strategies to maximize referral potential.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry changes through self-education, peer education, and professional and community involvement.
  • Contribute to the ongoing SWOT analysis and maintain a competition informational file.
  • Participate actively on the business development team to increase productivity and reduce duplication of efforts.
  • Support facility-wide quality/performance improvement goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a behavioral health area, marketing, business administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of two (2) years experience in healthcare business development/marketing environment with measurable business development results.
  • Knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles.
  • Valid driver's license.
