About the Role

Essity's Health and Medical team is seeking an experienced professional to fill the position of Account Manager - Long-Term Care. The successful candidate will be responsible for prospecting and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in the assigned territory, including Long Term Care, Hospitals, and Memory Care facilities. This role will be part of a regional team focused on growing the healthcare business by targeting independent facilities and regional/national chains.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect new business opportunities and convert, up-sell, and maintain existing accounts
  • Maintain and provide exceptional service to all independent Essity buying facilities
  • Work closely with Regional Key Account Manager to install new facilities for chains
  • Manage relationships and build rapport with distribution reps and end-user facilities within the territory
  • Target existing accounts for opportunities with premium products and line extensions
  • Drive growth and profitability through leveraging the entire product assortment and pricing strategy
  • Build rapport and prospect with assigned distribution, GPO, and Essity counterparts
  • Work with Revenue Management on new business opportunities to ensure appropriate pricing/terms
  • Support facility-level customer business reviews
  • Manage relationships with GPO and distribution sales representatives
  • Plan and attend local/territory trade shows
  • Cross-train with clinical representatives
  • Develop and execute business plans via quarterly business reviews with distribution partners and regional end customers
  • Operate in a manner consistent with Essity's beliefs and behaviors
  • Maintain all organizational processes (CRM system, Expense Management System, etc.)

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and/or three (3) plus years' experience in account management or sales role
  • Three (3) plus years of experience in sales or account management
  • Account management experience in the Healthcare Industry, specifically in Long Term Care, Memory Care, or Assisted Living
  • Ability to work day and night shifts
  • Proven track record of leading sales processes for national account opportunities, including prospecting, negotiating, and closure
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability and willingness to travel 70% to domestic locations
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive a motor vehicle
