Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team at US Foods, Inc. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster strong customer relationships and identify new business opportunities through effective communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Manage deliveries and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the order process.
  • Collect accounts receivable and work with the credit department to resolve any issues.
  • Develop new business by leveraging market intelligence databases, business directories, and other resources.
  • Stay up-to-date on market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales.
Requirements
  • 1+ year of sales experience preferred.
  • Foodservice industry/culinary/restaurant management/hospitality experience preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to build internal and external relationships and cold call to develop new business.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Competitive spirit and results-driven mentality.
  • Problem-solving ability/organization and negotiation skills.
  • Team up mentality to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficient computer skills; Microsoft Office products – Experience using Customer relationship management tools preferred (i.e., Salesforce).
Working Conditions

This role requires frequent travel to customer sites, variable weather conditions, and lifting/carrying up to 75lbs.

Education and Certifications
  • HS Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license required & motor vehicle record must be in good standing.
