About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our team at Evident. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Management and Sales Qualification
    • Qualify inbound leads generated through marketing activities and assess customer potential for correct customer segment allocation.
  • Sales Activity and Pipeline Management
    • Manage inbound leads from different channels via email and phone.
    • Take ownership of end-to-end sales responsibility of assigned customers from approaching phases until order taking, including product presentations, technical support, virtual demonstrations, quoting, and negotiation.
    • Develop and manage own sales activity and pipeline according to existing guidelines to reach yearly/monthly sales quota by product line.
  • Customer Portfolio Development
    • Develop the customer portfolio by actively researching potential customers, exploring new markets, applications, or geographic niches, or through the execution of targeted initiatives towards customer acquisition.
    • Constantly seek the development of the existing customer portfolio by offering new products or cross/up-selling opportunities.
  • Collaboration and Support
    • Collaborate with the Marketing department to provide support for planning and execution of proactive sales campaigns towards assigned customer segments.

Requirements

  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, marketing, or sales.
  • Experience
    • One-to-five years of proven history of success in a business-to-business or business-to-customer environment.
    • Prefer experience with technical instruments and applications software.
    • Prior sales experience, in either an inside or outside role, is a plus.
    • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM is desired.
  • Skills
    • Excellent selling/presentation skills, relationship building, negotiating, closing, and account management skills.
    • Experience in use of virtual/digital channels applied to sales and lead management processes.
    • Technical mindset capable of strategic thinking for product configurations and quoting.
