Position Overview:


We are seeking a dynamic Event Services Supervisor to become part of our team. This individual will oversee the arrangement and preparation of event spaces for functions, assist in serving and clearing tables, and manage the breakdown of event areas post-function.

Working closely with the Event Manager, this role will guide the performance of all hourly event service staff and is the primary representative of the resort to event attendees.

They will coordinate all elements of room setup and food and beverage service to enhance guest satisfaction and optimize revenue.


Your Responsibilities:

- Prepare for events by draping tables, arranging silverware, folding napkins, preparing beverages, and placing centerpieces.

- Provide service by retrieving food from the kitchen, transporting trays to event locations, serving meals, and clearing tables.

- Manage breakdown tasks including bussing tables, storing used linens and centerpieces, and maintaining cleanliness.

- Ensure safety and cleanliness in back areas, organize storage spaces, and maintain all food and beverage areas.

- Set up and dismantle refreshment stations for breaks, including coffee, tea, snacks, and beverages.

- Assist with event room arrangements according to meal specifications and table requirements.

- Perform food and beverage tasks such as preparing condiments, brewing coffee, and ensuring workstations are adequately stocked.

- Serve food and beverages to guests, and promptly clear dishes and utensils from tables.

- Clean and sanitize tables and counters after guests have finished.

- Provide detailed explanations of menu items, including preparation methods and ingredients.

- Maintain knowledge of all service-related aspects of the Banquet Event Order (BEO) concerning dietary requests and restrictions, sharing this information with the event team.

- Warmly welcome and bid farewell to all guests, ensuring a positive experience.

- Interact professionally with all staff members.

- Conduct final quality checks on food and beverage items before serving.

- Monitor assigned tables for guest satisfaction and address any needs promptly.

- Maintain vigilance regarding safety issues, such as broken glass, frayed cords, leaks, and suspicious activities.



Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in food service, preferably in a leadership role within event services.

- A proactive and collaborative individual with a focus on exceeding guest expectations.

- Experience in a 4-star or 5-star establishment with synchronized service.

- Knowledge of wines, beers, cocktails, and spirits.

- Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

- A passion for delivering exceptional experiences to all guests.

- Excellent communication skills are essential.
