We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Hotel Engineering/Maintenance Manager to oversee the upkeep of our hotel's infrastructure, including buildings, electricity, plumbing, and HVAC systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing maintenance personnel and planning renovation and repair projects. Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the inspection, repair, and maintenance of hotel systems and equipment
  • Work collaboratively with maintenance personnel and other departments to ensure seamless operations
  • Maintain the building, guest rooms, and common areas in excellent condition
  • Organize repair projects to minimize disruption to guests
  • Plan and oversee renovations and construction projects
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations, such as power outages
  • Identify and report potential safety hazards and notify supervisors of any damages or disturbances
  • Perform basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpet, and tile floor maintenance and repairs
  • Complete painting, minor roof repairs, and other exterior projects
  • Assist with exercise room and equipment repairs, if necessary
  • Participate in preventative maintenance programs
  • Collaborate with the General Manager and Housekeeping Director to identify and accomplish technical and skilled-related projects
  • Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
  • Maintain accurate budgets, expenses, and activity logs
  • Perform snow shoveling and ice melting duties, if required
