SAP MES Implementation Specialist

Belden is seeking a highly skilled SAP MES Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing operations team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining SAP MES solutions to optimize manufacturing processes and enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into SAP MES solutions.
- Configure and customize SAP MES modules and/or other MES applications to meet business needs.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including functional specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
- Provide end-user training and support to ensure successful adoption of MES solutions.
- Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning to optimize system performance and reliability.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field; master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of SAP ECC & S/4 experience with shop floor control, production planning, inventory management, and supporting master data.
- 5+ years of experience in MES implementation, configuration, and support.
- Proficiency in MES software platforms such as Rockwell Software, Advaris, or similar.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including production scheduling, quality management, and inventory control.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Good knowledge and hands-on experience in handling PLC, HMI, and SCADA.
- Proven track record of successfully leading MES implementations, including project planning, system configuration, and user training.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to effectively plan, execute, and control IT initiatives within budget and timeline.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
