Job Title: Supply Chain Manager

The Supply Chain Manager plays a vital role in supporting the global procurement function for Mauser Packaging Solutions. This position involves Raw Material purchases, Purchase Order placement, Item-level pricing updates, inbound metal tracking, supplier management, internal management reporting, and key performance metric tracking.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the SIOP Team to understand plants' needs in SAP, create PO's in SAP for mill orders, and ensure PO accuracy to match daily shippers from mills to receive into the system.
  • Work with the SIOP Team on Safety Stock Levels and ensure we have plans to keep stock levels at those required volumes.
  • Prepare RFQ's for General Line, Specialty, and Pail Suppliers and analyze their responses.
  • Work closely with Service Centers for any cut sheets, slit metal, or metal shortages as part of the procurement process to ensure no supply gaps.
  • Prepare internal management reporting and analysis to support operational leadership for decision making when placing orders, ending inventory levels, incoming receipts, and demand review.
  • Develop useful, accurate, meaningful, and streamlined reporting to highlight KPI's for the business, such as OTIF and SCAR's.
  • Assist with budgets and forecasts.
  • Collect, consolidate, and analyze monthly financial and inflation data.
  • Review and validate data for accuracy and consistency and work with other teams to improve accuracy and reliability of data.
  • Provide support to help the team achieve the Mauser EIP goals, a global cost optimization project optimizing the integration of business processes across all business units.
  • Share best practices across businesses.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting recommended, not required.
  • 3+ years of experience with data analysis and a manufacturing background is preferred.
  • Outstanding Excel, modeling, and PowerPoint skills required.
  • Experience with SAP mandatory. Oracle Hyperion, Microsoft Access database, Power BI considered a plus.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task efficiently, and take ownership with projects.
  • Detail-oriented, with high-level ethics and integrity.
  • Knowledge of internal controls and business processes preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment where priorities change quickly and multi-tasking is key to success.
