This role is a key individual contributor position within the Member Supervision Operations, Procedures, and Standards (MS OPS) team. Under general guidance, the analyst will assist in the formulation and upkeep of operational processes, standards, and reporting that influence various departments within Member Supervision. The individual will play a crucial role in consistently assessing the program for potential enhancements, aiding in the resolution of operational challenges, and supporting regulatory efforts by collaborating with MS OPS colleagues and significant stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to the creation of centralized operational workflows aimed at boosting efficiency, reducing redundancy, and ensuring robust controls are established.
  • Assists in refining and/or crafting new processes, controls, or operational procedures.
  • Collaborates with MS OPS team members to conduct organization-wide meetings to relay updates and educate staff on changes to processes, tools, controls, technology, and policies.
  • Maintains and, when necessary, develops content for Regulatory Operations systems and internal platforms.
  • Supports the formulation and upkeep of operational metrics, offering insights into key performance indicators and risk indicators for senior management.
  • Assists in producing relevant reports for distribution to key stakeholders.
  • Continuously enhances and maintains a foundational understanding of departmental functions and industry trends.
  • Builds and sustains professional relationships across Member Supervision and throughout the organization.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Supports senior personnel with strategic objectives and remediation efforts.
  • Engages in special projects and ad hoc initiatives, including internal and external requests.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Basic understanding of securities industry regulations and guidelines.
  • Exceptional organizational capabilities.
  • Strong analytical, research, and critical thinking skills.
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities.
  • Technical proficiency is essential, along with a proven capacity to learn and manage various systems and databases efficiently.

  • The work atmosphere includes high productivity expectations and stringent deadlines.
