This position serves as an individual contributor within the Member Supervision Operations, Procedures, and Standards (MS OPS) team. Under general supervision, the role is responsible for aiding in the creation and upkeep of operational frameworks, procedures, standards, and reporting mechanisms that affect various departments within Member Supervision. The incumbent will play a crucial role in consistently assessing the program for potential enhancements, addressing operational challenges, and supporting regulatory efforts by collaborating with MS OPS colleagues and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to the development of centralized operational workflows aimed at boosting efficiency, reducing redundancy, and ensuring robust controls are established.
  • Assists in refining and/or creating new processes, controls, or operational procedures.
  • Collaborates with MS OPS team members to facilitate organization-wide meetings to relay updates and train personnel on changes to processes, tools, controls, technology, and policies.
  • Maintains and, when necessary, creates content for Regulatory Operations systems and internal platforms.
  • Supports the formulation and upkeep of operational metrics, offering insights into key performance indicators and risk indicators for senior leadership.
  • Helps in generating relevant reports for distribution to essential stakeholders.
  • Continuously enhances and maintains a foundational understanding of departmental functions and industry trends.
  • Builds and sustains professional relationships across Member Supervision and throughout the organization.
Additional Duties:
  • Assists senior management with strategic objectives and deliverables.
  • Supports special projects and ad hoc initiatives, including internal and external requests.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Basic understanding of securities industry regulations and guidelines.
  • Exceptional organizational capabilities.
  • Strong analytical, research, and critical thinking skills.
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities.
  • Technical proficiency is essential, along with a proven capacity to learn and manage various systems and databases effectively.
