Job Summary

The Sous Chef will play a key role in the success of our culinary team at Spectraexperiences. As a senior leader, you will be responsible for supervising and mentoring a team of culinary professionals to ensure exceptional food quality and service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise all kitchen operations, including line setup, prep, and breakdown activities.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of menus, recipes, and food safety protocols.
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties.
  • Monitor food quality, presentation, and temperature to ensure consistency and excellence.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and scheduling to ensure efficient operations.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and execute special events and catering services.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve kitchen efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a high-volume food service environment.
  • Proven track record of success in leading a team and improving kitchen operations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and protocols.
  • Ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.
