Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement training programs for kitchen staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and other kitchen expenses to ensure that they are within budget.
  • Ensure that all kitchen equipment and facilities are properly maintained and in good working order.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve kitchen efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with the hotel's marketing team to develop and implement marketing strategies for the hotel's culinary offerings.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end hotel or restaurant.
  • Proven track record of success in managing kitchen operations and ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire kitchen staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with hotel management, kitchen staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly and effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards, with the ability to ensure that all kitchen operations meet these standards.
  • Ability to develop and implement menus that are in line with the hotel's culinary vision and goals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to monitor and control kitchen expenses and make adjustments as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience.
  • Certification in food safety and sanitation.
  • Experience with kitchen management software and other culinary technology.
  • Ability to speak multiple languages, with a strong understanding of cultural differences and nuances.
