Job Title: Corporate Paralegal

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Corporate Paralegal to join our team at GPAC, a leading search firm specializing in placing quality professionals within multiple industries across the United States. As a Corporate Paralegal, you will support attorneys in handling corporate legal matters, including mergers and acquisitions, compliance issues, and contract management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Document Management: Assist in drafting, reviewing, and organizing corporate documents, including contracts, agreements, and filings.
  • Legal Research: Conduct legal research and prepare reports on corporate legal matters.
  • Compliance: Manage corporate records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Client Communication: Coordinate and communicate with clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders.
  • Support to Attorneys: Support attorneys in preparing for meetings, transactions, and legal proceedings.
  • Database Management: Maintain and update corporate databases and documentation.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate from an accredited institution.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a corporate paralegal.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of corporate law, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, proficient in legal research and document management, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
