Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Control Specialist to join our team at O'neal Manufacturing Services. As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory management system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor receiving reports and ensure the accuracy of items and their condition.
  • Take physical inventory assessments and update the inventory management system accordingly.
  • Interact with corporate office and site personnel to ensure timely and accurate material receipt and shipment.
  • Prepare inventory management reports for leadership and sales staff.
  • Add new raw material items to inventory and maintain customer-specific inventories.
  • Receive return authorizations and maintain stock levels.
  • Perform daily inventory cycle counts and make quantity adjustments as needed.
  • Review receiving and inventory-related variances and make recommendations for improvement.
  • May review job travelers for accuracy and manage the reorder of depleted stock items.
  • May assist sales in locating material required for orders and work with vendors to expedite material delivery.
  • May work with corporate office to evaluate overstock, slow-moving, and deleted items and develop action plans for depletion.
