At LABINE AND ASSOCIATES, INC., we're seeking a highly skilled Wireless Communications Systems Developer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you'll play a crucial role in designing and developing cutting-edge wireless communication technologies.

Your primary responsibility will be to create proof-of-concept prototypes that enhance system performance and robustness. This will involve collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on various projects, from design and development to modeling, simulation, implementation, and evaluation of communication signals for transmission and optimal reception.

  • We require a BS +5yr, MS +3yr, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a similar field.
  • Proven experience with programming and prototyping Software Defined Radios (SDRs) is essential.
  • Familiarity with signal processing concepts for communications, detection & estimation theory, as well as knowledge of RF Communications like modulation schemes, coding, and channel modeling.
  • Experience with modeling and simulation tools like MATLAB and Python is required.
  • Laboratory testing experience and the ability to work on fast-paced projects, performing quick-turn experiments and rapid prototyping are also necessary.
  • A background in wireless technologies, such as 5G, LTE-M, or mmWave, is preferred.
