About the Role

MRG Exams, a leading provider of independent medical examinations, seeks a part-time Optometrist to conduct comprehensive eye exams for United States Veterans as part of the VA's SHA process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review medical health records through a secure Web Portal
  • Perform comprehensive eye exams on each veteran and complete forms through the Web Portal
What You'll Need to Succeed
  • Able to analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete forms and provide medical opinions
  • Completed forms must be submitted within 24 hours after an exam
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
Requirements
  • Hold a current license as an Optometrist in the state where exams are performed
  • Be able to perform Visual Field Testing (VFT)

This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position working Mondays and Wednesdays from 8a-4p. We offer a competitive hourly rate of $$120-$150 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
