About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Portfolio Valuation to join our Advisory Department at Citrin Cooperman Advisors LLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service and leading the design, execution, and presentation of valuation models and conclusions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Valuation Model Design and Execution: Oversee the development of valuation models, including discounted cash flow, market multiple analysis, market transactions modeling, and option pricing.
  • Valuation Analysis and Oversight: Direct the valuation analysis on a wide range of illiquid investments and assets across various industries and geographies.
  • Client Interviews and Data Collection: Participate in and supervise client interviews to gather information and data relevant to the valuation.
  • Analysis and Reporting: Lead the presentation and reporting of analyses and conclusions, including written reports, to clients.
  • Client Relationship Management: Manage client relationships across a variety of portfolio valuation clients, identifying opportunities for cross-selling and enhancing relationships.
  • Technical Proficiency and Industry Knowledge: Maintain technical proficiency in the field of valuation and the alternative investments industry.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, or MBA.
  • Professional Certifications: CFA and/or ASA.
  • Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in designing, editing, and reviewing valuation models and other financial models.
  • Skills: Demonstrated analytical, logic, reasoning, and problem-solving skills, strong verbal communication and persuasive writing skills, and knowledge of appropriate software, including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Teamwork and Diversity: Experience working with diverse teams.
