Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Portfolio Analyst to join our Valuation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting our appraisers in preparing and executing portfolio valuations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect, consolidate, and manage large datasets from various sources to support portfolio analysis
  • Transform raw data into structured formats for easy interpretation and use in analysis
  • Maintain data accuracy and integrity across multiple databases and spreadsheets
  • Analyze zoning and real estate taxes in the local jurisdiction
  • Database entry of sale, rent, lease, and income & expense comparables
  • Analyze rent rolls, leases, and historical financial performance
  • Value real estate assets under proper supervision, utilizing valuation techniques such as discounted cash flow analysis, direct capitalization, and sales comparison approach
  • Utilize advanced Excel functions and tools (e.g., pivot tables, macros, VBA) to automate processes and enhance analytical capabilities
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year university
  • Strong communication, written, and organizational skills
  • Ability to self-manage multiple projects at once
  • Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills
  • ARGUS experience preferred, but not required
  • Interpersonal skills to work within a team and build industry relationships
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to communicate clearly in person, over the telephone, and via emails
  • Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screen
