Job Description

As a Project Manager, Infrastructure, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple and large complex projects with multiple work streams. You will create in-depth Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) with interdependencies and a defined critical path. You will demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, develop and execute an efficient internal and external communication strategy, and monitor and report on project progress to stakeholders.

You will build and strengthen relationships with the customer and stakeholders (internal and external) and be responsible for creation and maintenance of resource plans ensuring effective resource allocation and distribution across portfolio of projects. You will utilize project management tools and techniques to improve execution and drive efficiencies.

You will implement engagement review and quality assurance procedures in accordance with our methodology and ensure profitable and successful execution of all assigned engagements as measured by regional goals and customer feedback. You will proactively manage changes in project scope, effectively create and execute risk management plans, and manage and analyze profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates, and utilization across projects.

You will understand and manage key project financial components to ensure projects are delivered within budget and be responsible for quality and timely execution of deliverables across projects. You will have a Federal/DoD background and candidates who understand how to read and interpret government contract awards. You will have 2+ years of experience as an Infrastructure Technical Project Manager and experience in a Professional Services environment is required.

You will have a State/Local Government/Educational background who understand how to read and interpret government contract awards and be in the Eastern Time Zone (USA). You will have knowledge of both the theoretical and practical aspects of project management and PMP certification is desired. You will have understanding of financial processes, ability to understand, analyze, and create financial reports, and extensive experience with people management, strategic planning, and change management.

You will have proven experience with risk management, demonstrated ability to communicate appropriately to leadership, understanding of and the ability to utilize the process of stakeholder analysis, and ability to work independently and aggressively track to project timelines. You will have excellent documentation skills and attention to detail and experience with MS Office Tools - PowerPoint, Project, Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.

You will have ability to communicate well with customers and co-workers, experience in effectively influencing and leading personnel, and ability to write business reports in a well-organized manner. You will have strong team building skills, excellent problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, demonstrated communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation), and proficiency with project management software.
