Key Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Head of Talent Acquisition, the Director of Executive Recruiting will establish and oversee the executive search strategy for Samsung Semiconductor. This role encompasses critical activities such as identifying, engaging, and nurturing executive and leadership-level candidates. It is essential for the long-term success of Samsung Semiconductor and will serve as a strategic collaborator with the company's executive leadership.

Work Environment: Fully Remote, with flexibility to operate from various locations.

  • Collaborate with Business Leaders, HR Business Partners, and the Talent Acquisition lead to assess talent gaps for executive roles and develop inclusive recruitment strategies to attract top-tier talent.
  • Provide strategic consultation on all facets of executive recruitment to senior leaders across the organization, including customizing search strategies for key positions.
  • Work alongside the Head of People and HRBP team to identify internal and external candidates for current and future executive opportunities.
  • Engage with the Total Rewards team to understand compensation trends and ensure competitive offers to attract premier talent.
  • Partner with the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion leader to integrate inclusivity into the executive search process.
  • Develop and maintain a diverse pipeline of high-caliber candidates at various stages of readiness and experience.
  • Foster and grow relationships with candidates through strategic interactions, including informal meetings.
  • Design and implement unique candidate engagement initiatives, including networking events and executive forums.
  • Utilize data, trends, and feedback to inform recruitment strategies.
  • Participate in all stages of executive recruitment, including networking, candidate assessment, and offer negotiations.
  • Prepare and present executive hiring reports to regional and global leadership.
  • Position Samsung as a leading employer for high-performing talent in the semiconductor industry and beyond.
  • Proactively expand our talent network and industry partnerships.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with over 20 years of executive search experience preferred.
  • Proven track record in engaging and hiring executive-level talent.
  • Experience in the semiconductor industry is required.
  • Familiarity with staffing tools and systems (e.g., LinkedIn, Greenhouse) is essential.
  • Exceptional planning, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability to promote the company and attract talent.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • A collaborative team player with a strong ethical compass and a sense of humor.

Compensation and Benefits
