Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Guest Services professional to join our team at Martini Modern Italian. As a Guest Services Ambassador, you will be responsible for creating a positive first impression and making our guests feel welcome on the phone and in person.
Key Responsibilities:
- Exemplify genuine hospitality standards and handle requests and complaints with guest satisfaction as the priority.
- Adhere to standards of professional appearance, personal cleanliness, and proper attire, displaying confidence and a friendly disposition at all times.
- Use proper phone etiquette and follow procedure to make, cancel, or change reservations and call-ahead seating, recognizing returning guests and special occasions.
- Follow correct procedures for cash handling, carry-out orders, and gift card sales, accurately using point of sale systems.
- Greet guests, show guests to their table, and distribute menus.
- Memorize the floor plan of the restaurant.
- Communicate frequently with management on duty regarding guest flow in the front area.
- Assist management and other associates if needed or assigned, promoting teamwork and dependability.
- Exhibit punctuality and dependability.
- Know emergency procedures to the restaurant.
