Position Overview

The Customer Service Representative plays a crucial role in delivering outstanding service to our clients. This position involves collaboration with various departments including Aftermarket Sales, Purchasing, Production Engineering, Operations, Accounting, and Collections to achieve corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review purchase orders for accuracy, addressing discrepancies, and ensuring precise order entry.
  • Manage customer service inquiries and oversee post-order processes, including order acknowledgments and tracking.
  • Resolve invoicing issues and support collections to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure timely handling of post-order questions and emergency requests.
  • Facilitate communication with customers, working closely with Aftermarket and Outside Sales Representatives.
  • Create and process change orders, Return Material Authorizations (RMAs), and Credit Material Authorizations (CMAs).

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service, sales, or marketing within a technical environment.
  • Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software such as SAP and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent data entry and interpersonal abilities.
  • Professional demeanor with a competent phone presence and empathy towards customer situations.
  • Highly motivated, organized, and focused on continuous improvement.
  • Willingness to travel domestically as required.
