Regional Clinical Liaison Job Description

The Regional Clinical Liaison plays a pivotal role in driving sales growth and maintaining customer relationships for Nexus Health Systems. This position serves as a liaison between the facility Sales directors and professionals in the community, fostering strong connections to generate repeat referral opportunities.

  • Establish and Cultivate Relationships: Develop and maintain professional relationships with referral sources to drive repeat business.
  • Managed Care Opportunities: Identify and pursue managed care opportunities, collaborating with the NHS Director of Managed Care Services to cultivate these leads.
  • Weekly Planning: Ensure timely completion of weekly plans to stay on track and meet sales goals.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay abreast of healthcare changes and trends, demonstrating expertise in the hospital and marketplace.
  • Competitive Analysis: Conduct periodic competitive analysis of competitor facilities to inform sales strategies.
  • Referral Analysis: Analyze referral data to strategize effectively and drive sales growth.
  • Presentation Coordination: Coordinate presentations to potential referral sources to promote Nexus Health Systems facilities.
  • Regular Meetings: Attend regularly scheduled company Sales meetings to stay informed and aligned with sales goals.
  • Cost-Effective Sales: Perform sales duties in a cost-effective manner, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Community Knowledge: Maintain knowledge of community resources to provide valuable insights to referral sources.
  • Reporting and Communication: Effectively and timely report and communicate activities, progress, issues, and concerns to the Director of Complex Care.
  • Customer Database Utilization: Utilize the corporate customer database tool, Enquire, to manage customer relationships and drive sales growth.
  • Licensing and Payor Information: Demonstrate knowledge and awareness of licensing regulations and third-party payor information.

Education and Experience

A Bachelor's degree is required, with a clinical background preferred. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in a hospital or healthcare-related field, with a strong background in referral development, client services, and relationship management.

Preferred candidates will have experience developing sales plans for a territory and a strong understanding of the healthcare industry.
